So - thought I would start this simple blog so I could keep a track of my progress for training - blog everyday, see if there were things that improved my trianing, my thoughts after every session, why I was doing it - so on and so forth - not really to be read by anyone else - but just to track....
SO - why not at the start of the week - because the week started on Monday - yes a simple thing of course BUT it comes after the weekend of Sam and Lucy's party - not not feeling too clever...fooled my body into thinking that was fine after loking at online programs and thinking Monday would be my 'rest' day.
So started on Tuesday - EXCEPT I have now come down with a cold - just a general, normal cold - but still feel achy tired and generally sorry for myself and in a grump. I did run - but badly, sadly even. Stats below.
Then yesterday - Wednesday, again fooling myself after reading online training plans, I thought I would do some gentle cardio... again, rather sadly. All that wonderful new equipment and I rather pathetically managed 12 minutes on the cross (livid) trainer. :( grumpy Ruth.
Today - even worse! if it wasn't for the HUGE (and not in the pleasant HUGE Jackman way) meeting this morning I would be tucked up in bed with Sam (again not in a pleasant way) I feel headachy, had an appaling nights sleep and generally sorry for myself. Rubbish - I really wanted to start my new training program this week and I feel Penelope Pitstop twarted
